Tonight I was thrilled to welcome back to CiTR studios Matt Masters, who's visiting from Calgary. The boy can sure spin a tale, and he kept us entertained with stories and a few tunes. Gotta love his version of "Summer Wages" (nice tip of the hat to our town!) Accompanying him was Vancouver guitarist Craig McCaul. See mattmasters.com for upcoming Vancouver & Vancouver Island dates.Besides musical tributes to important figures of the Canadian folk scene who passed recently,(sound engineer Si Garber and writer Greg Quill) we tipped our hat to Bob Dylan. He's still alive and kickin', turning 72 on May 24.Hope you're still enjoying spring, and thanks for your support of this podcast!cheers, [email protected]
