Festival season is here, and tonight I chatted with 2 of the world/roots bands taking part in the Vancouver International Jazz Festival. At 8:40 I spoke with Natalie of Australia's Blue King Brown. At 9:30 I spoke with Aaron of Toronto's Jaffa Road. Both bands worth seeing live this Canada Day weekend if you're in town. We also paid musical tribute to the late Gaye Delorme, and finished tonight's show with a song written from the viewpoint of Paul Revere's horse.(!) Happy Canada Day (July 1) and Independence Day (July 4)! Thanks, as always, for listening.Cheers, Val ([email protected])
