In Genesis 32:22–32, Jacob spends a long night wrestling beside the brook Jabbok, only to discover that his greatest struggle is not with a man, but with God Himself. Before the blessing comes, Jacob is broken. Before his future is changed, his heart is transformed. In this lesson, we explore how God uses seasons of struggle, weakness, and surrender to shape His people. Jacob walked away with a limp, but he also walked away with a blessing.
