We have a broken criminal sentencing system. In 2019 Rogel Aguilera-Mederos failed to control the semi he was driving and caused an accident that killed four people and injured six more. While a tragedy, Colorada criminal sentencing guidelines imposed a mandatory 110 years on Aguilera-Mederos. While his judgment failed him before the accident, does the deserve what's essentially a life sentence? Dan and Beth delve into this story and give their thoughts on where we are at as a country when it comes to how we sentence those found guilty in a court of law.
