Broken Pieces

At the Warrenton Community Church in Warrenton, Missouri, Dr. Stubblefield shares a sermon rooted in the account of the shipwreck in the Book of Acts, Chapter Twenty-Seven.  The Apostle Paul and two hundred seventy-five other prisoners were on board a ship to Rome that was pummeled by hurricane force winds. The ship ran aground forcing many of the passengers to swim to safety.  Some got to land on broken pieces of the ship.  The “broken pieces” in this text are symbolic.  They represent realities we experience, resources we employ and reminders we embrace in life and in ministry.
