Broken Saviors Pt. 7

In this series, we’re walking through the book of Judges. In this Old Testament book, we see the Israelites engage in a cycle of sin, compromising with God, turning to other things, crying out to him, and eventually being saved by him, only to repeat the pattern again. 

This week, we looked at the story of Samson and how he passionately pursued anything he wanted in life instead of passionately pursuing what God had for him. We then talked through four ways that we can avoid being our own worst enemy – not compromising, being teachable, surrounding ourselves with godly friends, and exercising self-control.
