Brokenness and Happiness

Discretion is advised. Dr. Terri-Ann Nelson is back with the guys and she returns to speak on her book, Broken & Unashamed.  She jumps right into the topic the book by addressing the sexual abuse she experienced and questioning her faith while dealing with the trauma that occurred (1:16). Also, Terri-Ann talks about how she faced the trauma & how faith assisted in her healing process (2:23). Next, she speaks on how her mother reacted to the abuse (6:09) and how the church community was the catalyst in her healing (10:00). Later, Terri-Ann explains why forgiving herself was more difficult than forgiving her abuser (13:47) and how her book was received by others along with opportunities to help others (16:32). Brandon then talks about how his book was received, despite not disclosing his emotions of his parents divorce, to his family (20:16).
