Broncos Defense in Crisis | Denver Broncos News

The Denver Broncos’ crushing 31-10 loss to the Chiefs exposed a shocking defensive flaw: 28 missed tackles — the worst in NFL Next Gen Stats history. Seven players, led by linebackers Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad, were at fault, allowing opponents to rack up 248 yards after broken tackles. Coach Sean Payton called it “the opposite of how you beat a good team,” dismissing training camp contact as an excuse. Now, with the Jaguars next up, the Broncos are laser-focused on fixing their tackling fundamentals — because if they don’t, the losses keep coming.
