Broncos Ranked 15th Despite Playoff Run
from NFL News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
The Denver Broncos, once a top-five powerhouse, now sit at number fifteen in ESPN’s Football Power Index — a stark drop from last year’s playoff dominance. The FPI’s new ranking factors in close wins, a brutal upcoming schedule, and lingering concerns over quarterback Bo Nix’s ankle recovery after multiple fractures and surgery. While their defense dazzled, the index predicts regression — especially with the loss of key defensive end John Franklin-Myers and a tough early-season slate against NFC West and AFC East rivals. Fans are left wondering if last year’s magic was luck, and if this year’s team can sustain the hype amid injury uncertainty and tougher odds.
