Broncos Targeting Long-Term Value at Linebacker

The Denver Broncos are solidifying their linebacker corps for the 2026 season, with Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad as starters and undrafted rookies filling out the depth. Jonah Elliss will also see some package snaps. The team is considering adding a fresh face like Missouris Josiah Trotter in next years draft. Trotter, a 20-year-old linebacker, bounced back strong after an ACL injury and earned first-team All-SEC honors with impressive stats. Scouts love his size, energy, and run-stopping abilities, but hes raw with limited starts and injury flags. While hes projected as a top 100 pick, the Broncos may opt for better long-term value picks due to their set starters and deeper talent pool in the draft.
