It will be a few more years before Charlotteans begin to see buildings go up for the long-awaited Brooklyn Village development. The project, a long time coming, still has a long way to go.On Wednesday, the developers will give the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners an update on the $700 million project's progress.The entire project will bring more than 1,200 apartments, including affordable housing, retail and office space.
