In this new series, Pastor Tolu Ayeni covered the purpose and structure of the local church — God’s primary way of working on the earth. From the book of Acts, we see that believers were never meant to serve God in isolation; they gathered together under godly leadership to grow, serve, and fulfill the Great Commission.He also informed us that discipleship happens in community, through teaching, training, and service within the local church. God builds His people through pastors and leaders who are set over each flock, giving instructions, doctrine, and direction by His Spirit.This teaching emphasizes unity, obedience, and submission to godly order in the local church — reminding us that true growth and spiritual maturity come when we’re planted, taught, and serving together as one body in Christ.
