Brown Stands Firm on Roster | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Syracuse coach Fran Brown is shutting down rumors of a reunion with last year’s team, declaring he’s fully satisfied with his current roster and has no plans to bring back any players—even eligible fifth-years. The squad has forged strong bonds since January, and Brown’s confidence is unwavering. While standout receiver Justus Ross-Simmons, who led the team in touchdowns and is now healthy, expressed interest in returning, the door seems closed due to Brown’s stance and Title IX’s limited scope. Players like Devin Grant and Kevin Jobity Jr., who signed with NFL teams as undrafted free agents, are officially out—Grant chasing the Chargers, Jobity aiming for the Steelers. The court ruling in Colorado doesn’t apply here, thanks to NCAA rules protecting signed pros. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
