Browns Secondary Dominates Day 8 of 2026 Training Camp

eighth day of the Cleveland Browns' 2026 training camp, highlighting a practice focused on play-action schemes and specific run concepts. The session featured a rotation of quarterbacks, with Shedeur Sanders earning opportunities with the starting unit while Deshaun Watson also logged significant time. Despite several offensive highlights, including scoring plays from KC Concepcion, the secondary proved to be the dominant force by securing multiple interceptions and pass breakups. Defensive coaches attributed this success to the unit's commitment to precision and endurance during complex installation periods. Overall, the report captures the competitive balance between a developing offense and a high-performing defensive backfield as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
