Adam Oberman – Adam has been with Retriever of Chicago for 14 years. He started as the manager of the risk/chargeback/collection department for NPC Corporate which is the parent company of Retriever of Chicago. He managed over 20 employees in his 4 years with corporate. Adam then joined forces with Nick Oberman and Ryan Hallett and formed Retriever of Chicago which is one of NPC’s largest Independent Sales Organizations today. That sales force has a sales team of over 60 agents nationwide, and four offices spread across the United States – Mokena IL, Chicago IL, Del Ray Beach Florida, and Los Angeles California. Adams primary focus is on the large mid-merchant segment that process in a retail environment. With Adams knowledge and experience in the Risk/Chargeback department he is able to assist clients in reducing their disputes with customers and managing their current Fraud tools within their gateway. Adam resides with his wife and three kids in Orland Park IL. He devotes his free time to his family and his dedication to serve at his church as a youth leader. Adam is also involved with Restoration Ministries charitable organization in Harvey, Illinois which helps recovering addicts turn their lives around. Awards and Highlights: 2005- “Jumbo Merchant” Award 2007- Helped triple the company’s revenue within his team. 2009- “Jumbo Merchant” Award 2011- “Fastest Growing Group” Award within his team 2012- “Risk Management Club” Award within his team 2013- “Highest Revenue Growth” Award within his team.Nicholas Oberman is the CEO of Retriever of Chicago Inc. He is currently a member of NPC’s Advisory Board of Directors, and has over 13 years of industry experience all with NPC. Nicholas has built his team to over 60 Bank Card Representatives nationwide. Under Nicholas leadership, Retriever of Chicago is now the 5th largest partnership NPC holds, and services over 3000 merchant relationships. He has also been an integral part in attaining Major Merchants, and a number of banking relationships over the last 13 years. Nicholas currently resides in the South Suburbs of Chicago with his Wife and three sons. He also sits on Restoration Ministries Board of Directors. Restoration Ministries charitable organization in Harvey, Illinois which helps recovering addicts turn their lives around. The objectives of the ETA CPP program are to: • Establish a uniform, defined standard of practice and knowledge for ISOs, sales personnel and other payments industry professionals • Quantify the expertise and potential performance of payments industry professionals • Enhance the productivity and reputation of payments companies and the credibility of the industry • Thwart inappropriate practices that may sully the reputation of the industry • Provide an important service to the payments industry PURPOSE OF THE ETA CPP The ETA CPP program sets the standard for professional performance in the payments industry and is a symbol of excellence. It signifies that an individual has demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to perform competently in today’s complex electronic payments environment. As a result of increasing governmental scrutiny and regulation, growing security and compliance requirements, and a host of emerging issues and trends, today’s payments professionals need to have a broad knowledge of the industry, the challenges and forces shaping its future. They must demonstrate mastery not only of sales, but of pricing and interchange; business process, operations and workflow; products and solutions; risk; and regulatory, compliance and security matters as well. With the ETA CPP designation, ETA codifies the significant increase in knowledge required of payments professionals on the job.Ryan is the Vice President of Retrieve of Chicago Sales Division, and has over 10 years industry experience all with the same startup. Ryan oversees a sales staff of 60 agents nationwide. Primary focus is on recruiting new sales agents, and developing new strategic alliances with value added resellers. Through Ryan’s vision and dedication Retriever of Chicago has become one of the largest ISO’s at National Processing Company. Responsibilities include: • Marketing for agents • Manage Value Added Reseller relationships • Sales strategies and goals • Merchant retention • New Product Releases Ryan resides with his wife and two daughters in St. John Indiana. He devotes his free time to Restoration Ministries charitable organization in Harvey, Illinois which helps recovering addicts turn their lives around. 2013- Completed and passed ETA’s CPP (certified payment professional) exam.
