We received a n email this week from Travel and Leisure Co saying they had 160 vacancies for young people to join the hospitality and tourism secror, and these were jobs that could lead to a career in what from personal experience is a great industry And it got us thinking, maybe there are kids who have completed Year 12 in 2024 but are still looking for their career path. So I spoke to the Senior Vice President Human Resources & Brand Communications for this multinational business, Bruce Harkness, who told me they are looking for young people, not necessarily with a degree, but with the right attitude.
