While at WCL, Bruce was hand picked to write, and then argue, an Education for All Handicapped Children Act case before the USCA 4th.  He then left for New York to serve as a Public Defender at the Bronx Legal Aid Society where he rose to Senior Trial Attorney in just 5 years.Bruce met his wife, Jo, while in the Bronx and followed her to California, where he had his own practice, then was chief prosecutor for the Office of Citizen Complaints before settling down to specialize in DUI.  During the roughly 20 years of DUI practice Mr. Kapsack wrote for Ed Kuwatch’s California Drunk Driving Defense, Larry Taylors California Drunk Driving Law yearly supplements and then his own nationwide best seller, Innovative DUI Trial Tools.Along the way Bruce has served on the Board of the National College for DUI Defense, California Attorneys for Criminal Justice and several other organizations, he nearly 100 published articles and has lectured over 50 times throughout the United States.Most recently Bruce has decided to go back to public defense serving first as the Assistant Public Defender in Redding California and now running the Truckee Public Defender office. Louis Goodman www.louisgoodman.com [email protected] 510.582.9090  Musical theme by Joel Katz, Seaside Recording, Maui Technical support: Bryan Matheson, Skyline Studios, Oakland  We'd love to hear from you.  Send us an email at [email protected]. Please subscribe and listen.
