Brutal Honesty and Audacity: Why Most People Stay Stuck | Ep 93

from Old Man Energy · host Old Man Energy

Most people don’t need more motivation. They need a mirror they can’t look away from.In Episode 93 of the Old Man Energy Podcast, Flint Anderson breaks down why brutal honesty is a daily discipline, not a one-time breakthrough. If your results don’t match your story, the story is the lie. “I’m overwhelmed” usually means you haven’t decided. “I’m waiting on clarity” usually means you’re avoiding responsibility. And the longer you avoid it, the more it starts to feel inevitable. Then we go into Part Two: audacity. Brutal honesty without audacity becomes self-flagellation. Audacity is the willingness to act before you feel ready, take up space without permission, price higher than your comfort level, and move while it’s still ugly. Confidence isn’t imagined. It’s built through action and feedback. If you’ve been stuck in the same cycles, same money stress, same conversations, same promises you quietly break to yourself, this is your wake-up call.Hit pause and do the one thing you already know you’ve been avoiding.Comment: What have you been running from, and what are you doing about it today?Subscribe for weekly episodes on discipline, sales, leadership, and building a life you respect.#OldManEnergy #Discipline #Accountability #Audacity #BrutalHonesty #SelfRespect #Leadership #Mindset #PersonalDevelopment #EntrepreneurMindset #Consistency #GoalSetting #Integrity #BusinessOwner #SalesMindsetWhat you can do to stay connected:👉 Like, Subscribe, and Share if this helped shift your mindset📥 Check the description for OMEMurch + new programs📲 Follow Flint on all platforms for daily mindset content Also check out two of my books for free!https://www.anyidiotwithahammer.flintanderson.com/https://www.momentummatters.flintanderson.com/Old Man Energy's Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/theoldmanenergyEntreprenual growth | https://750kmastermind.comFlint's Website | https://flintanderson.com/Flint's Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/phlintrock/Flint's Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/PhlintRock/Flint's Tiktok | https://www.tiktok.com/@phlint_rockFlint's Twitter | https://twitter.com/PhlintRockOfficial Merchandise | https://shop.flintanderson.com/

Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
