Bryan Kohberger Makes His First Court Appearance In Boise Courtroom

Bryan Kohberger, the suspect in the Idaho murders, is facing a delay to his trial. Originally scheduled for June 2025, the trial was moved from Moscow, Idaho to Boise, Idaho due to Kohberger’s defense attorneys successfully arguing that he couldn’t receive a fair trial in Moscow. The trial is now being overseen by Judge Steven Hippler.Kohberger was transported from Latah County to Ada County on September 19, 2024. A new mugshot was taken upon his arrival in Ada County, showing Kohberger with a more rugged appearance, featuring an unkempt beard and bloodshot eyes. The prosecution is seeking the death penalty if Kohberger is convicted.
