Episode Description
Episode 8 Bryce Laspisa
The host for this episode is Jami Rice from the Murderish podcast. Join Jami as she discusses a case that is beyond bizarre – the 2013 disappearance of Bryce Laspisa. Popular and talented Bryce was in his sophomore year in college in Northern California when his friends and girlfriend noticed some sudden changes in his personality. Bryce started drinking heavily and taking stimulants, and began acting erratically and unpredictably. After an argument with his girlfriend, he set out to drive to his parents' home, 465 miles away. While on the road he called for roadside assistance from a small town 350 miles from his college, and was seen sitting in his car. At his parents' request, police later checked on him and found him to be sober. He called his parents in the middle of the night to say he was pulling over to sleep. That was the last interaction anyone had with Bryce. On August 30th, his 2003 Toyota Highlander was found by police down a 25 foot embankment. He had not attempted to brake. Bryce was nowhere to be seen, but all his personal possessions were in the car. What happened to Bryce Laspisa?
