Bryce Young’s Franchise Future in Question | Carolina Panthers News

Carolina Panthers coach Dave Canales declared Bryce Young the franchise QB “right now,” but with his contract looming, it’s unclear if that’s a long-term vote of confidence—or just a reflection of who’s under center. Young’s rookie year was rough, but he led the team to a division title—and while his efficiency stats still lag, his development has been steady, not regressive. Benching him wouldn’t help evaluate his future; with backup options limited, it’s sink-or-swim time for Young to prove he’s worth an extension.
