On April 16th, Kansas Jayhawks forward, Bryson Tiller, just flipped his commitment to the University of Missouri for next season, and that's going to sting. For a lot of Jayhawk fans, this marks the seventh player bailing from KU after their second round NCAA tournament loss to St. John's, leaving the roster in rebuild mode. Tiller started in 31 of 35 games during the 2025-26 season, putting up almost 8 points, 6 rebounds, and an assist per game while shooting just under 45% from the field.
Fans aren't thrilled about losing his energy inside, but KU moved quick to plug the gap by grabbing former Utah U's forward, Keanu Dawes. Dawes, who's entering his senior year, averaged 12.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists last season on over. 54% shooting, plus he hits threes at 32% better than Tiller's mark, and that can open things up for the Jayhawks moving forward.
