BSCSC 010 - Sea City, Here We Come!

from Strange Bedfellows · host Jack Shepherd and Tanner Greenring

Stacey and Mary Anne are headed back to the scene of the crime. To the place where it all started, all those years ago – to the locus for those half-forgotten events of that tumultuous summer in Sea City when Stacey went boy crazy, a condition that affects her to this very day. And the consequences of this return to the past – of this “recherche du temps perdu” – will be cataclysmic. A great storm is coming. A hurricane. A tempest of rage and hurt and remembrance that threatens to consume everything in its path. And with the darkness preceding the deluge come other dark things. Things that crawl and creep and grasp with their tendrils and their tentacles. Things that devour. Here we come, Sea City. And may Heaven protect us from what follows. Music credits: “Tanzen” by KieLoBoy “Dramatic Trailer,” by Audiophile-Trax “Love Potion,” by Fasol Prod “Powertool Massacre,” by JBlanks “The Dark Castle,” by Fesliyan Studios “The One You Loved Is Gone,” by Soularflair “Epic Halloween,” by OlexandrIgnatov “Sadness,” by AudioRose "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn,” by The Eldritch Reader Thanks as always to original Baby Boy Scott Lamb for the intro music, and to Superbrat for the outro music. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jack-shepherd8/support Learn more about your ad choices. Explicit The Midnight Cinema Screening Unkn  Welcome to The Midnight Cinema Screening. This is basically the place where we hang out after midnight and talk about movies and TV shows that stuck with us… the good, the bad, the weird, and the ones that probably shouldn’t exist but somehow do. I also talk about true crime. If you love horror, cult classics, creepy shows, and the occasional random deep dive into something strange, you’re in the right place. Nothing here is super scripted or overly serious. It’s more like sitting around with friends after a late-night movie, breaking down what worked, what didn’t, and the moments that made you pause the screen and go, “Wait… what just happened?”Some episodes we’ll be reviewing movies. Some we’ll be talking about TV episodes. And sometimes we’ll just go down a rabbit hole about the weird history behind something we watched. So if you like late-night movie talk, dark stories, and conversations that feel a little unfiltered Explicit
