BTB: Jane Wilkens Michael Show talks about The Write Stuff
from Jane Wilkens Michael Better Than Before Hosted by Jane & Laurie
Sharlee Jeter, the younger sister of baseball legend and longtime Yankee captain Derek Jeter, is a superstar in her own right. Indeed, she courageously beat cancer when she was in college, without missing her classes, and has now devoted herself to helping others summon their own inner strength, as well. To that end, she is the president of the Turn 2 Foundation, a nonprofit established by Derek that promotes a healthy lifestyle for children and teens. She is joined on the show today by Dr. Sampson Davis, an emergency room physician, public speaker, philanthropist, and New York Times bestselling author. Together they wrote the new best-seller, The Stuff: Unlock Your Power to Overcome Challenges, Soar and Succeed. The book, with the foreword written by her brother, is a powerful, inspirational read that chronicles the success stories of more than two dozen everyday people who overcame major obstacles and insurmountable odds to not only survive – but thrive. The authors discuss with Jane the common thread to their subjects' triumph over adversity, and the essential elements that helped them lead longer, happier, healthier lives in order to feel Better Than Before physically, emotionally, and spiritually. They also reveal their personal motivational keys and winning strategies. The Stuff. You have it. Now use it!
