As of Friday, April 14, Montana became the first U.S. state to vote to pass legislation that bans TikTok from all personal devices. According to CNN, the bill is going in front of the governor and if the governor signs the bill, it will go into effect most likely in January 2024.   There has been a lot of reporting over security concerns that come with the app. Particularly how it relates to user data.
