Bubak

On this episode we chat with Jeff and Justin of Bubak. This two piece drum and bass (which sounds like a guitar and bass - not sure what kind of witchcraft is at work here) crank out burly riffs of stoner / doom magic. Bubak’s latest release Vol. 3 is on regular rotation.During our chat we delved into the origins of the name Bubak (it is a scary story) as well as how the band handles song writing. Along those lines we talked about the importance of recording every practice to ensure you don’t lose that epic riff. While Bubak don’t have immediate plans to record a new album, they are looking to hit the stage again this Spring and Summer. They also have a lot of new merch for fans that have been clamoring for new shirts, patches, and such.
