Until recently, she was a college marketing director, but left this role to pursue her career as a writer and small business owner. Through her bubble tea merchandise company Bitsy Boba she has published two coloring books for all ages. She also wrote a book of conversation starters for children called "Questions for Kids: 500 Family Friendly Questions to Get Kids Talking" under her other company Trivia Town Books. She is currently working on additional titles.Beyond writing, Michelle is passionate about advocating for missing persons and researches for two true crime podcasts. Pre-pandemic, she was an avid traveler, having visited more than 40 countries.
