Buck Wild: Actor Oliver Stark from 9-1-1 on Fame, Fire, and Finding Himself

From London stages to Hollywood firehouses, Oliver Stark has carved out a spot in primetime TV that’s impossible to ignore. Best known as Evan “Buck” Buckley on the hit ABC series 9-1-1, Oliver joins Up+Adam to talk about his unexpected journey, the real heart behind his character, and how playing a firefighter for over eight seasons has shaped the way he sees himself, and the world. Adam and Oliver get into everything from behind-the-scenes chaos to fan theories, imposter syndrome, and the kind of personal growth that only comes when you stop chasing what’s next and start standing tall in the now. Plus: sausage rolls, Reddit rabbit holes, and the wine that wins over executive producers. Catch Oliver Stark on 9-1-1, Thursdays at 8/7c on ABC. On today’s Up+Adam, Adam chats with former ESPN NBA reporter and Dub Dynasty host Israel Gutierrez to unpack the real story behind the Golden State Warriors. Yeah, we talk Steph, Draymond, Kerr, and Durant, buuuuut this convo isn’t just for the basketball heads. It’s for anyone who’s ever been curious about what makes greatness stick. Even if you haven’t caught a single game this postseason (same), this is one of those stories that cuts deeper than sports. It’s about culture, ego, evolution—and how a franchise known for splash plays quietly became a masterclass in leadership and loyalty. We also dig into LeBron’s late-stage legacy, Luka’s rise, and yes… the weirdest legal take you’ll ever hear about free throws.
