Day 8: The Empty Bucket   Scripture: Psalm 51:17 — “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” (NIV)   Devotional:   An empty bucket can feel like failure or lack, but it’s often the starting point God uses to fill us with His grace and strength. When we come before God broken and humble, He begins to pour in His mercy and power. Emptying ourselves means letting go of pride, control, and self-sufficiency. It opens the way for God to fill us with what we truly need His presence, love, and purpose. Don’t fear emptiness; embrace it as God’s invitation to be refilled and renewed. Prayer:   Lord, create in me a humble heart. Help me to let go of pride and receive Your grace and strength. Fill my empty places with Your presence.
