Bucks County 9/11 memorial founder ‘heartbroken’ and ‘outraged’ over vandalism

The founder of the 9/11 Garden of Reflection in Lower Makefield, Bucks County, was in disbelief when she found out someone vandalized the memorial earlier this week. Ellen Saracini's husband, Victor, was a pilot on Flight 175. Hijackers took over that plane and crashed it into the south tower of the World Trade Center. She helped create the memorial as a place for her and others to honor those lost that day. But on Tuesday morning, police found scratches on the memorial glass displaying the last names S to W. Anyone with information on the vandals is being asked to contact Lower Makefield Township police.
