Bud Hahn: A Century of Love and Service
from Santa Barbara News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Bud Hahn, who lived a full century and passed away at 100, lived a life defined by love, service, and relentless generosity. A Navy veteran from WWII, he built a thriving business with his son, retired at 72, and stayed active into his nineties—walking, cycling, even playing volleyball. A devoted husband to Martha Jean for 55 years, he lived by the creed of leaving things better than he found them, both in his community and in his marriage. A lifelong Lutheran church member, he gave his time and spirit to Faith Lutheran Church in Carpinteria. He died on his wife’s birthday, a poignant echo of their enduring bond. A celebration of his life will be held June 12th. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
