Todayʼs guest has been described as equally rootsy and smooth as satin, delivering music that will stick in your head, as well as your heart, and his honey soaked vocals can exhibit swagger and occasionally a sadness. He is passionate and insightful, funky, folky and as a frequent guest on South Eastern Virginia radio station WHRV-FM Barry Graham, the folk music producer at WHRV has described our guest as having, “the soul of a poet and the songs to prove it.” He began his musical career In high school playing with a variety of musical bands and later became a church music director. Our guest grew up in a Lutheran military family and now lives in Hagerstown, MD. On February 1, 2022 he released a self produced album of previously released recordings titled “so far : a collection”. It is my honor to introduce todayʼs guest, Doug Alan Wilcox.
