A hilarious idea stretched into a gimmicky feature that never quite finds the characters, stakes or story to hold the insanity together. We're talking murderous children's television, Nightmare Buddy, dead kids, demonic unicorn mythology, Clint Howard getting extremely inappropriate with a puppet, surprisingly nasty scares, the bizarre final act and whether this thing is actually a brilliant piece of horror satire or just one enormous fucked-up joke.
