Buffalo Bills Biggest Week Five Takeaways

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran discusses his biggest takeaways after watching the All-22 film and going over the PFF grades from the Buffalo Bills gut wrenching three point road loss on Sunday against the Houston Texans.To put it mildly, the Bills offense is a mess right now and has been for the past two weeks. Patrick talks about it not being any singular reason but rather a collaborative effort in its struggles, from bad game planning to predictable play calling, wide receivers who rarely get open and don't make plays when they do, an offensive line suddenly struggling to keep the pocket and at least in this game, a quarterback in Josh Allen who was quite frankly pretty awful. If these past two weeks have been a bump in a road or a pattern that could stay consistent for the rest of the season remains to be seen but Patrick's convinced a trade for a wide receiver considerably better than what was trotted out on Sunday is critical if Brandon Beane's serious about trying to win a championship this season.Defensively the results were much better, all things (injuries) considered. Patrick talks about being impressed with rookie defensive tackles DeWayne Carter and an impactful return from middle linebacker Terrel Bernard.
