Buffalo Sabres Midseason Review & Awards

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by friend and recurring guest Tone Pucks to discuss the Buffalo Sabres as they come off the All-Star break and into their final 33 games of the season in addition to handing out some midseason awards for them---the good, bad and ugly.There were a lot of expectations on the Sabres this season to finally break their playoff drought but through 49 games that hasn't come to fruition. The guys discuss a lot of went wrong and why they're 11 points off last year's pace, ranging from the inability to put a real winning streak together to an abundance of injuries to star players and a straight-up lack of consistent stepping up from other players that's led to a big dip offensively.They then hand out some midseason hardware, with a disagreement for team MVP so far. Patrick explains why he went with Casey Mittelstadt while Pucks argues for UPL.
