Buffaloes in the NFL: Injury & Opportunity | Colorado Buffaloes Football News

The NFL season is off to a wild start for former Colorado Buffaloes, with 13 alumni making waves—though not all are playing their best. Nate Landman, a standout linebacker for the Rams, battled through a tough loss in Melbourne against the 49ers, suffering a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter while his team fell 27-7. Despite seven tackles and a big hit, the Rams looked exhausted after flying in last-minute, even pulling star pass rusher Myles Garrett early. Landman’s availability for next week’s game against the Giants—featuring fellow ex-Buffalo Josh Tupou—is now uncertain. Meanwhile, wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. of the Panthers is stepping into new roles, taking over kickoff and punt return duties in practice after a teammate went on injured reserve, showing flashes of his college return prowess.
