Buffy S2E14 "Innocence" Review & Recap!

from Major Slayage: Ket & Arik Rewatch Buffy the Vampire Slayer · host Major Slayage

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 2 Episode 14 “Innocence” is an emotional powerhouse of an episode. We didn’t remember this show getting THIS good THIS early, but here we are! Ketryn cried, and Arik had to dissociate at times just to get survive it. Giles and Jenny ‘s SECOND honeymoon phase comes to a rocky end, Buffy wishes she had a do-over, and we finally meet Season Two’s “Big Bad!” Why is Oz just the best guy? Why is the Judge always so chilly? Why are the gaslighting and emotional abuse in this episode so realistically written?  If only there was some way to glean these answers... Oh, that’s right – there is!
