Building a financial plan, critically important for caregivers

from Life Happens · host Kim Hegwood

“What happens when the caregiver is unable to provide that care? When my grandmother had her diagnosis, her sister was helping her. She felt very ill and passed away. So, we had to come in. My father and I took over the caregiving responsibility for her. And luckily, we had a plan in place.” Leslea Stock-Lopez Both Kim Hegwood and her guest Leslea Stock-Lopez agree that having a solid financial plan is critical for caregivers. Today they will discuss the following. Why is financial literacy important for caregivers? How does caregiving impact finances? What are the benefits of financial planning?
