Building A Healthier Community: Lake Country Community Health Fair

Every community has defining moments—times when people come together with a shared purpose to make life better for everyone who calls that place home. Today’s episode is about one of those moments. On March 28th, something new is coming to Lake Country: the Lake Country Community Health Fair at Lake Oconee Academy. It’s designed to bring together healthcare providers, wellness experts, community organizations, and residents from across Greensboro, Eatonton, Madison, and beyond—all under one roof with a simple but powerful goal: helping people live healthier lives. My guests today are two familiar voices on the show—Dr. Nick Chronos and Tom Hanscom. Both have spent years working to strengthen our community in different ways, and now they’re teaming up to launch what they hope will become an annual tradition focused on health, education, and access to care.
