Building AI literacy

The federal government has launched a national program to help Canadians develop their AI skills and knowledge. This comes after several leaders and founders in AI called for slowing down development and putting safeguards in place. UBC teaching professor Leah Macfadyen joined the show as we ask you what you need to become more AI literate and what safeguards should be put in place.
