She works to encourage the mindful and critical interrogation of unexamined assumptions around issues of race.Liz Cooney is a queer writer, facilitator, and speaker from Des Moines, Iowa. Her work focuses on helping people communicate more effectively through valuing differences and navigating difficult conversations.
