Linda Valente is the Director of Training and Employee Development at the non-profit, CDD, or Center for Developmentally Disabled. Here Linda and her organization provide much-needed residential care services and day habilitation to adults with developmental disabilities across the greater Kansas City, MO area. Linda is the first person in her position, laying the foundation for supporting not just their residents, but their caregivers.Linda has worked in the Learning & Development field for 14 years now and holds two master's degrees in Adult Education and Family Therapy. Outside of academics, Linda is a lover of music. She is a part-time vocal instructor and currently studying to become a voice-over artist.
