Today’s Daughter of Change, Ekhlas Ahmed, is a force to be reckoned with. She is a trailblazer, a shining light, and a beautiful human. Forced to flee the outbreak of civil war in Sudan with her mother, father, and three younger brothers in 2004, Ekhlas and her family were resettled in Portland, Maine.
