Then we get honest about what discourages children. Colossians 3:21 warns against provoking them — guilt, comparisons, constant criticism, and correction that never notices effort. Discouragement makes kids stop trying, stop sharing, and stop believing they can grow. Deuteronomy 6 offers a blueprint for family discipleship: love God first, then teach faith as an everyday way of life — at home, on the road, at bedtime, in the morning. We also cover Proverbs-based discipline that's consistent and age-appropriate, and the modern temptation to solve tantrums with screens.
