“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain.” — Psalm 127:1Samuel Oyeyinka reminded us that marriage isn’t just a cultural construct; it’s God’s idea, designed with a clear purpose: a man and woman united together to raise godly seed and reflect Christ’s devotion to the Church.Before we build, we must first understand God’s vision for marriage; one rooted in service and a life committed to willing the good of the other.To pray rightly, choose wisely, and build purposefully, we must begin with God.There is a rest that comes from doing marriage God’s way, one that no other path can give.Trying to build apart from His blueprint is why so much around us is broken.
