BUILDING ON THE ROCK

Scripture: “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” – Matthew 7:24 (NIV) Devotional Message: True stability in life doesn’t come from wealth, fame, or personal strength—it comes from building on the solid foundation of Christ and His Word. Jesus reminds us that hearing His words is not enough; we must also live them out. Storms will come, challenges will rise, but a life rooted in obedience to God stands unshaken. When we align our choices, values, and actions with His truth, we build something eternal. The rock of Christ guarantees not just survival in trials, but victory through them. Today, Ask Yourself: Am I merely hearing God’s Word, or am I putting it into practice in my daily life? Prayer: Almighty Father, help me to build my life on You—the solid Rock. Teach me to not only hear Your Word but to live it daily, so that no storm can move me from Your truth. Amen.
