Although texting is the worst form of communication available, there are several ways we can utilize it to establish rapport and communicate effectively. Building rapport doesn’t mean you have to like or agree with the other person’s opinion or point of view. It means you have to show interest in them, listen to them, and respect their difference of opinion while understanding where they are coming from. Rapport leads to trust, but trust doesn’t have to mean agreement.
