Welcome to Building Texas, Guest: Andy and Missy Ivankovich Host: Justin McKenzie Andy and Missy are the Co-Owners of Singing Water Vineyards in Comfort, Texas. Previously, Andy served as a senior executive with Fiserv, a Fortune 100 company serving the financial services industry supporting over 6,000 banks and credit unions. Andy led the Fiserv digital lending and mobile teams who connect over 120 Million customers to their respective banks. A serial entrepreneur, Andy started a digital banking company, iLendx, which was acquired by Fiserv in 2018. Missy partnered with Andy in both life and business, serving as the Chief Administration Officer and managing legal, finance, and Human Resources for all of the ventures from 2007 to 2018. Previously, Missy was a 5 th grade elementary school teacher with NEISD in San Antonio. Prior to iLendx/Fiserv, Andy held executive management positions with Aviva PLC., JP Morgan Chase Bank and most notably USAA. While at USAA, Andy managed the military bank’s $14B consumer lending portfolio and was the named inventor for digital banking innovations with an issued patent creating a digital experience for car buying and lending, which became known as True Car, Inc. As entrepreneurs, Andy and Missy also started several tech companies serving local andnational non-profits. Currently, Andy and Missy own and operate Singing Water Vineyards, a large ranch in the Texas Hill Country with 8 acres of vineyards that support wine production on-site as well as a venue for weddings, concerts and events in the Texas Hill Country. Andy grew up in Central Florida in a small town called Mulberry and joined the Air Force after high school serving in Alaska as a C-130 crew chief. Missy grew up in Quincy, MA just outside Boston. The couple met in Boston while attending college at Eastern Nazarene. They married soon after graduation and quickly moved to Texas for Andy’s work with USAA. Andy and Missy are active in ministry at Oak Hills Church, where they’ve been attending for over 20 years.
