Today we are going to talk about truth. What does it mean to live in a culture of lies, and what kind of obligation do we have as Christians who are lovers of truth? What obligation do we have in this society to witness to the truth?We are bombarded with ideas, images, and propaganda entirely foreign to Orthodox life—music, media, movies. It wages war on our life through the various forms of media we are constantly plugged into. This is an ongoing problem priests talk about. For a Christian who only comes to church on Sundays we have them for two and a half or three hours if they come to Orthros.
