Built by Trials | Pastor B
from United Pursuit Church Hosted by United Pursuit Church
Most of us want a life that feels whole and complete, but the path there often runs through our hardest seasons. The Book of James opens with a bold challenge: count it all joy when trials come, not because suffering is pleasant, but because God uses it to build something in us that we could never build on our own. Trials test and purify faith the way heat purifies gold, burning away what does not belong and refining what remains. The goal of this process is steadfastness, and steadfastness leads to maturity. God is not punishing us through difficulty. He is inviting us into transformation. The destination is being complete and lacking nothing, and it is reached by trusting Him through the process.
